The Institutional Review Board is comprised of scientists, non-scientists, and community members. Members serve one-year terms and are appointed by the medical center's Board of Governors. The Institutional Review Board meets the first and third Wednesday of the month; the Data Safety Monitoring Board meets the second Wednesday of every month.
